DIFFERENT TYPES OF ANIMALS
As various kinds of plants grow in different
environmental conditions so do animals. Human
beings also adapt to the environment they live in
or get used to live in that environment. Like
plants, animals have also developed certain
features which help them to survive in their
environment. The process of developing these
features in order to adjust to changes in the
environment is called adaptation .
An animal should be able to protect itself and find
food in order to live in its environment. When an
animal is able to do so successfully, we say it has
adapted to its environment.
