Natural gas is found in the same rocks as coal and
petroleum. Gas was also formed from the half-

decayed remains of plants, animals and bacteria.
Gas is often found in small amounts only because it

can easily leak away through tiny spaces in rocks.
Natural gas does not need to be pumped out of the

ground. It comes out under its own pressure once
a shaft has been drilled down to it. Many oil wells

produce natural gas as a by product. Methane is
the chief component of natural gas.
                                                                                                     Natural Gas

                    LIMITATIONS OF RESOURCES
The energy sources which were once used up and that cannot be filled up are

called non-renewable sources of energy, for example : coal, oil and natural gas.
