Metamorphic
Heat and pressure below the surface of the Earth
can bring about changes in the minerals of igneous
and sedimentary rocks which transform into new
kinds of rocks. This process is called metamorphosis
which means changes. Sedimentary rocks are made
under the seas. Sometimes, a sea gets dried up. Metamorphic Rocks
Sedimentary rocks are exposed to wind and rain. In course of time, a new kind
of rock is formed. These are nothing but metamorphic rocks which are hard
and tough in nature.
