Create Your Own World
1. You can make a first-aid box of your own. You will
need a cardboard box, some cotton, plaster, bandage,
scissors, iodex, burnol, dettol, iodine etc.
2. Make a chart on road safety.
Lab Activity : A Practical Approach
1. Take a paper plate, pour water in it and put it on a flame. To your utter surprise, you
will see that the water boils but the paper plate does not catch fire. This is because the
water in the paper plate makes its surface cool, hence it does not catch fire. This is why,
water is used to extinguish fire.
2. Make a survey in your neighbourhood and try to find out the safety rules being
followed at different places.
